Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for system O&M, and security of the enterprise servers.
  • Develop TTPs that address how the organization will ensure HBSS is fully operational in accordance with USCG and USCYBERCOM directives.
  • Ensure all implemented patches; maintenance releases, version upgrades, and implemented tuning are integrated into the program baseline after release by PL.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environment: vCenter, ESXi hypervisor on new hosts, virtual machines, datastore creation and maintenance.
  • Maintain virtualized architecture using vCenter.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for incident and problem resolution of the virtualization Infrastructure.
  • Using various resources, diagnose and document lessoned learned for issues concerning ESXi hosts, such as but not limited to, troubleshoot technology issues.
  • Implement best operational practices for VMware virtualization environment, and automate where applicable.
  • Follow policies and procedures for change, incident, and problem management.

  • 3+ years’ Hands-on experience deploying VMware vSphere, Horizon View, vCenter, vROPs, etc. in an enterprise environment.
  • 3+ years’ Experience diagnosing and resolving vSphere performance issues.
  • 3+ years’ Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
